Okay in the few minutes since my last post, I have just seen at least 15. It is living up to its title of 'meteor shower'

Make that Perseids not Pleiades! The slow, green, ultra bright one I saw a few months ago... I don't think was part of a shower.

The Pleiades shower is coming straight down from the top of the sky. The handful that I have seen this hour are very quick, and white.
